Bali to Host the 6th International Joint Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (IJCHT-26)

The 6th International Joint Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (IJCHT-26), held in conjunction with the International Conference on Hospitality, Tourism, and Entrepreneurship (INSPIRE 2026), will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026 at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic in Bali, Indonesia. Organized under the theme "Cultural Convergence: Regenerating Hospitality, Tourism, MICE and Events," the conference will provide an international platform for academics, researchers, tourism professionals, policymakers, and industry partners to exchange knowledge and discuss innovative solutions for the future of tourism and hospitality.

The conference focuses on the role of cultural convergence in advancing regenerative tourism, sustainable hospitality, MICE, and event management. Participants are invited to explore how digital technologies, entrepreneurship, governance, and community engagement can contribute to more resilient and inclusive tourism destinations. The scientific programme covers a broad range of topics, including artificial intelligence and technology, creativity and entrepreneurship, community-based tourism, gastronomy, fashion tourism, travel behaviour, health and wellness tourism, regenerative destinations, hotel and restaurant management, destination governance, ESG, CSR, cultural heritage, and tourism impacts.

The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, academic paper presentations, networking sessions, workshops, and cultural activities. Confirmed keynote speakers include Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Professor Dimitrios Buhalis (Bournemouth University, United Kingdom), and Professor Cihan Cobanoglu (Virscend University, USA).

Researchers are invited to submit extended abstracts and full papers. Accepted papers will be presented during the conference, while selected manuscripts will be considered for publication in a number of international journals, including Tourism Review, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology, International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, and several regional indexed journals.

In addition to its academic programme, the conference includes networking events, a cultural evening, a yoga and wellness workshop, and a conference excursion designed to introduce participants to Bali's tourism and cultural heritage.
