The 14th International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality (ICT2026) will be held from November 27 to 30, 2026, at the Mission Hills Campus of Hainan University in Haikou, China.

Organized under the theme “Island Tourism, Digital Empowerment, and Governance Innovation,” the conference will focus on three principal areas: island tourism and hospitality, digital empowerment, and governance innovation. Academics, researchers, tourism industry representatives, and practitioners may participate by submitting either an abstract or a full paper.

Abstracts must not exceed 500 words, while full papers must be limited to 9,000 words, including references. Although papers written in English are preferred, submissions in Chinese will also be accepted. Authors submitting full papers are advised to use the APA 7 referencing style. Accepted studies will be presented on-site in either oral or poster format.

On the first day of the conference, workshops will be held on research methods in tourism and hospitality studies and publishing in leading academic journals. The opening ceremony, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and parallel sessions will take place on November 28. A journal editors’ roundtable, the announcement of the best paper, and the closing ceremony will be held on November 29. The programme will conclude with an optional post-conference study tour on November 30.
