The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will hold its Sustainable Tourism Forum 2026 at its headquarters in Manila, Philippines, from 17 to 19 November. The event will focus on strengthening tourism investment, project development and institutional capacity across Asia and the Pacific.

The forum will bring together tourism, development and finance officials from ADB’s developing member countries, alongside bank specialists, international organisations, industry representatives and technical experts. Participants will exchange research findings, practical tools and lessons from tourism development projects.

The programme aims to help governments and development partners identify barriers facing destinations, prepare stronger investment projects and ensure that tourism generates wider economic and social benefits. It will also support collaboration between public institutions and the private sector.

The opening day will address destination governance, regional cooperation, private-sector development and the preparation of financially viable tourism investments. On 18 November, practical training will cover project preparation, business-led tourism growth, tourism development and sustainability standards.

The final day will feature destination stewardship training delivered by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, with limited places available.

Registration closes on 11 November 2026 at 17:00 Manila time (UTC+8). Further information, the programme and registration details are available on the official forum website.
