The 2nd Algarve Winter Meeting: Bridging Tourism, Hospitality & Marketing will take place on 22 January 2027 at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, University of the Algarve, in Faro, Portugal. The conference will offer both in-person and online participation.

Under the theme “Current Trends,” the meeting will bring together researchers, students and industry professionals to examine developments shaping tourism, hospitality and marketing. Discussions will address how changing consumer behaviour and wider economic, social, environmental, technological and cultural developments are influencing these interconnected sectors.

Topics include artificial intelligence, tourism demand, digital marketing, customer experiences, workforce challenges, gastronomy, accessible tourism and the effects of tourism on communities. Sustainability, regenerative practices, marketing ethics and greenwashing also feature among the conference’s research areas.

Presentations will be delivered in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Following the conference, selected authors will be invited to submit full manuscripts to partner journals by 30 April 2027, subject to double-blind peer review.
