Denver’s Vision 2027 Event to Explore Tourism Resilience

Organised by SKAL Colorado and MSU Denver School of Hospitality, “Vision 2027: Tourism Resilience in Uncertain Times” will take place in Denver on 5 November 2026, bringing together leaders from tourism, hospitality, aviation and resort operations.

The event will examine how the tourism and hospitality industry can strengthen resilience and prepare for an uncertain future as it looks ahead to 2027.

The in-person programme will run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at Auraria Campus, 1190 Auraria Parkway, Denver, Colorado.

Industry Leaders to Share Perspectives

Announced speakers represent several areas of the visitor economy, from urban tourism and accommodation to air connectivity and mountain resorts. They include:

  • Richard W. Scharf, CEO of Visit Denver;

  • Walter Isenberg, Chairman of the Board of Sage Hospitality Group;

  • Laura L. Jackson, Vice President of Air Service Development at Denver Airport; and

  • Rob Perlman, Executive Vice President, Resort Division, at Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp.

Through talks and discussions, the gathering aims to encourage an exchange of ideas about adapting to uncertainty, strengthen professional connections and support preparations for the year ahead.
