The 8th International Academic Conference (IAC VIII 2027) will be held in a hybrid format from 6 to 8 April 2027 at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Terengganu Branch, in Dungun, Malaysia.

Organised under the 5th Terengganu Multidisciplinary International Conference (TeMIC 2027), IAC VIII will focus on the theme “Advancing Global Academic Excellence through Inclusive Multicultural Practices.” TeMIC 2027 carries the overarching theme “Unity in Diversity: Cultivating Multicultural Competence in Academia.”

The conference will provide a multidisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, professionals, industry practitioners and students to present research findings, exchange ideas and develop cross-disciplinary collaborations. Contributions may include original research papers, conceptual papers, case studies and work-in-progress studies.

Conference tracks encompass global education and policy; inclusive education and multiculturalism; student development and well-being; digital innovation; technical and vocational education and training; business and entrepreneurship; social sciences and communication; and tourism, hospitality, heritage, arts and sustainable development.

The deadline for full-paper or manuscript submissions is 31 December 2026. Acceptance decisions will be announced by 1 February 2027, while accepted authors must submit camera-ready manuscripts by 1 March 2027. The payment deadline is 15 March 2027.

According to the organisers, all accepted extended abstracts will appear in conference proceedings carrying an eISBN. Selected full papers will be invited for submission to journals indexed in databases such as MyCite, Web of Science and Scopus. Journal publication is subject to the respective journals’ editorial and peer-review procedures.
