The International Journal of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (IJGHT) is inviting undergraduate and graduate students to submit manuscripts for a special issue scheduled for spring 2027. The submission deadline is 15 December 2026.
The call welcomes contributions from students studying gaming, hospitality, tourism and event management. Editors are particularly interested in students’ perspectives on these industries, their appeal to younger generations, and responses to emerging challenges and opportunities.
Submissions should follow the journal’s Industry Commentary template and assessment criteria. This category emphasises practical industry problems and recommendations that professionals can apply in their organisations. Authors may draw on observations, interviews and other relevant evidence to support their analysis.
Manuscript body text should not exceed 7,000 words, and submissions should include a synopsis of no more than 250 words. The journal requires manuscripts in English and applies double-blind peer review. There are no submission or publication fees.
Authors should submit through the journal’s Open Journal Systems platform, accessible from its website. Enquiries and requests for technical assistance can be directed to IJGHT@Stockton.edu.
Outstanding contributions will receive Best Paper recognition. Authors selected for this recognition, up to a maximum of four individuals, will each receive a US$50 Amazon e-gift card and be acknowledged in a public press release.
