A steady stream of hotel development projects is currently underway across Italy, reflecting continued investor confidence in one of Europe’s leading tourism destinations. Marina di Ventimiglia
Located in Ventimiglia, the Marina di Ventimiglia project is scheduled to open in 2029. The development will comprise a new five-star hotel with 70 guestrooms. Currently in the planning stage, the project is being developed by One Works and Marina Development Corporation.
Baccarat Villa Camerata Florence
Expected to open in the first quarter of 2027, Baccarat Villa Camerata Florence will transform a historic property into a luxury five-star hotel in Florence. The project will feature 75 guestrooms and is currently under construction. The development is being led by Omnam Group and will operate under the Baccarat Hotels & Resorts brand in partnership with Starwood Hotels.
The Rocco Forte Hotels Naples
In Naples, The Rocco Forte Hotels Naples is planned as a five-star conversion project with 46 guestrooms. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, the development is currently in the planning phase and will become part of The Rocco Forte Collection portfolio.
Calampiso Resort
Situated in Sicily, Calampiso Resort is undergoing a major refurbishment and redevelopment program. The five-star resort will offer 257 guestrooms and is expected to reopen in 2029. The project is currently in the pre-planning stage and is being developed by CASTELLO SGR S.p.A.
