Inaugural Leadership Roundtable Explores India’s Global Tourism Role
A new feature of ITB India 2026 is the inaugural ITB India Leadership Roundtable, organised in partnership with the global strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher.
The invitation-only forum brings together senior decision-makers from tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destination management and government. It is intended to facilitate strategic dialogue among representatives from across the travel ecosystem.
The closed-door discussion addresses India’s expanding outbound travel market, destination competitiveness, connectivity, investment, technology and public-private collaboration. It also examines India’s position as both a major tourism destination and an increasingly influential international source market.
Networking Continues Beyond the Exhibition Floor
Business discussions at ITB India 2026 will continue beyond scheduled meetings and conference sessions.
On the first day, the ITB India Happy Hour will provide exhibitors, buyers and other travel professionals with an informal setting in which to reconnect, continue discussions initiated on the exhibition floor and establish new industry relationships.
On the second day, the Cruise Capsule will return for its second edition. The event will bring together cruise experts, travel trade representatives and MICE specialists for an afternoon dedicated to opportunities and developments in India’s cruise market, followed by a networking session.
