The seventh Monaco Symposium on Luxury will take place at the International University of Monaco from 22 to 24 April 2027. Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their work by 30 November 2026.
Organised by the university with support from OMNES Education, the symposium will address “Luxury in the Age of Disruption: Rethinking Value in a Changing World.” Discussions will examine how luxury businesses balance heritage with innovation, maintain exclusivity while widening access, and respond to growing expectations of responsibility. The programme will combine academic presentations, industry sessions and a Doctoral Colloquium.
The call welcomes original research using any methodological approach. Relevant disciplines include marketing, strategy, management, sociology, finance, family business, hospitality and digital transformation.
Submissions must be written in English and uploaded through EasyChair. Authors may submit an extended abstract of up to 10 pages or a full paper of up to 25 pages, excluding the title and abstract pages. Papers will undergo two double-blind reviews.
Doctoral students are also encouraged to submit extended abstracts to the dedicated colloquium, where they can present their research and receive feedback from senior scholars. Authors will be notified of decisions by 15 January 2027.
The advertised early registration fee is €680 until 27 February 2027, rising to €790 from 28 February. Online registration closes on 25 March 2027.
Submission instructions and further information are available on the official call for papers page.
