The International Scientific Conference “Tourism in Transition”, taking place on 19–20 November 2026, invites submissions for its Student Research and Doctoral & Master’s Colloquium Track. The online track offers postgraduate researchers an opportunity to present their work, receive academic feedback, and develop international connections.
The conference is organised by the Tourism Department, Faculty of Economics, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, in collaboration with the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The colloquium welcomes completed studies and research in progress, including master’s dissertations and doctoral projects. Relevant topics include destination management, sustainability, cultural and heritage tourism, hospitality, tourism economics, tourism education, and digitalisation.
Applicants should submit an extended abstract of no more than two pages, following APA 7th edition guidelines. Submissions should outline the research background and objectives, relevant literature, methodology, and findings or anticipated results.
