The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) has announced its academic call for papers for the 57th Annual International Conference, taking place from 29 June to 1 July 2027 at the Sheraton Grand Seattle, United States.

The conference theme is “Elevating the Future of Travel Research: Innovation, Analysis, Strategy & Advocacy.” Submissions may address any aspect of travel, tourism and tourist experiences, using theoretical or applied approaches.

Authors must submit anonymous abstracts of 500–2,500 words, excluding references, using the required template. Research in progress is welcome, while previously published research is ineligible. EasyChair submissions open on 26 October 2026.

Four presentation formats are available: traditional oral presentations, conversational presentations, the Ideas Fair for posters and other visual contributions, and a qualitative research colloquium.

The early submission deadline is 20 November 2026, followed by the final abstract deadline on 28 December 2026. Decision notifications are scheduled for 28 February 2027. Accepted contributions may appear in the online conference proceedings.
