The University of Aveiro’s Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP), Portugal, has published a notice for one six-month research grant under the “ATT – Agenda to Accelerate and Transform Tourism” initiative.

The advertised funding comprises a monthly allowance of €1,309.64, with an additional monthly supplement of up to €229.20. Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral programme in tourism.

Preferred qualifications include tourism research experience, familiarity with qualitative analysis using WebQDA and quantitative analysis involving PLS-SEM, project management skills, English proficiency and effective communication.

The work involves reviewing literature, supporting academic publications, conducting interviews and questionnaires, and analysing qualitative and quantitative data. The researcher will also assist with project administration, event organisation and dissemination of findings.
