The University of Guelph in Canada has published admission details for its MSc in Tourism and Hospitality for September 2027 entry. Online applications are due by 15 January 2027, with supporting documents required by 1 February 2027.

The full-time, on-campus programme offers two pathways: a 12-month Major Research Paper (MRP) option and a 24-month thesis option.

MRP students complete eight courses and an applied research paper addressing an industry challenge. Thesis students undertake six courses, a thesis proposal and a defence, developing skills relevant to doctoral study and research careers.

Applicants need a four-year honours bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least a B average (73%) in their final two years of study. Two references and evidence of English proficiency, where applicable, are also required.

The application fee is CAD 125, payable through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre. The university states that enrolled students receive partial funding through scholarships and/or Graduate Teaching Assistant positions.
