The University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. Selection considers academic performance, leadership, student organisation involvement, professional experience, references and the quality and timeliness of applications.
The college’s published annual schedule sets the following application periods:
-
Incoming graduate students: 1 August–30 November for spring entry; 1 December–31 July for autumn entry.
-
Incoming undergraduate students: 1 March–30 September for spring entry; 1 October–28 February for autumn entry.
-
Current undergraduate and graduate students: 1 January–31 May.
Recipients must maintain both cumulative and semester GPAs of at least 3.0, study full-time, declare Global Hospitality Leadership as their major and complete a course in the subject each semester. They must also follow the university’s academic integrity policy and attend a compulsory scholarship orientation.
Undergraduates may receive support for up to eight semesters, while graduate students are eligible for up to four semesters. Renewal is not automatic: recipients must submit a new scholarship application annually.
Application forms and further information are available through the Hilton College scholarships page.
