Approximately 13,500 sample entries awaiting contribution have been added to the system. You may also propose new entries and become a contributor to the encyclopedia.
Graduate students in particular, as well as other students conducting research, may contribute individually or together with their advisors.
You may also contribute to the “Today in Tourism” page by suggesting significant developments and events from your country for inclusion.
Multiple entries on the same topic and under the same title may be written. However, newly submitted entries are expected to provide additional information and perspectives.
The subject areas for which entries can be written in The Encyclopedia of World Tourism are presented on the “Categories” page.
You may propose new entries that have not yet been written and contribute by authoring the proposed entry yourself.
Researchers, academics, graduate students, and industry professionals from around the world may contribute to The Encyclopedia of World Tourism by writing encyclopedia entries.
