1949 The first Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix of the World Championship era was held at Monza.
1985 The first Burning Man was held at Baker Beach, San Francisco (United States), evolving into one of the world's most distinctive cultural festivals.
1990 The Second World Archaeological Congress began in Barquisimeto (Venezuela) and concluded on September 8, 1990.
